Founder & Guitarist Winston McFarlane has managed to fuse his love for music and business. Winston graduated Morehouse College 2001 with a degree in Business where he concentrated in Marketing. While at Morehouse Winston was involved in the Student Government Association. In addition to his SGA involvement Winston was also a member of the Morehouse Investment Club, and the Morehouse Business Association which enabled him to have a one on one with Warren Buffett. “It was an honor to meet Mr. Buffett. I learned a lot from him about life, not just numbers.” Winston was also Morehouse Colleges student Ambassador to Harvard University. But Through it all Winston Always found Time for his Guitar. After Graduating Morehouse College Winston went on to work as a Brand Ambassador for the Coca-Cola Company for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, where he received the honor of being an Olympic Torch Bearer. Which gave him the honor of taking part in an historic moment to share carrying the flame with the likes of Muhammad Ali, Lance Armstrong, and many others? After taking part in a few other marketing campaigns Winston could no longer deny his passion for music which lead him to graduation from the guitar program at the Atlanta Institute of Music where he studied Blues, Rock, Jazz & classical. Winston’s has been teaching and Playing guitar ever since. Recently Winston finished a music production certification from Berklee School Of Music. Winston sits in with several local artists on the music scene from time to time as well as plays private parties and corporate events.

Terry
Operations, Program & Event Development, Client Service, Back Office Terry has over 15 years’ experience operating performance-based music schools across the country. He has personally taught hundreds of students and has had thousands participate in programs at his schools. He has first-hand experience developing programs, training teachers, and working with communities to provide students with incredible performance opportunities. A couple notable events included an evening with Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), where Terry organized a Q&A with students as well as select students playing Megadeth songs with Dave. Additionally, he organized events for his students with Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue) and Todd Lewis (Toadies). Terry plays drums and guitar and is active in several bands including Mojo Risin (a Doors Tribute) and Pony Express. He also has produced and recorded over 15 albums. He has 6 kids, all of whom play instruments, have been in bands, and have been long-term students at performance based music schools similar to Vision Music Live. Terry and Winston have known each other for years – he is thrilled to partner with Winston to continue building this awesome set of programs in the community.

John RePass is a passionate multi-instrumentalist (Drums, Bass, Guitar and vocalist ) with a deep love for music that spans a variety of genres such as folk, alternative rock, pop, rap/hip-hop,and metal. A Seattle native, he has been immersed in music his entire life, honing his craft across multiple instruments and developing a unique vocal style. John speaks fluent mandarin and is also sign to a record label. John produces music and play a lot of live shows in and around the seattle area as well.

Scott
Scott Swanberg is a double bassist with experience in both Jazz and Classical music. He received his bachelor in music education from Central Washington University, and his Master's in String Bass performance from the University of Tennessee. Scott made inroads in Knoxville by performing Jazz with students and staff alike, as well as subbing for the Knoxville Symphony. Out of grad school he played six nights a week at the House of Blues and Jazz in Shanghai, China from October 2019 to January 2020. Scott moved back to Washington in 2021. In Addition to teaching at Vision Music Live Scott currently teaches high school jazz band and performs all over the greater Puget Sound area.
