At Vision Music Live, we encourage all our students to enroll in the full performance program (lessons + performance). In this program, students not only learn skills and techniques during private lessons, but then get to use those new skills/techniques in weekly rehearsals and live concerts. Knowing some students have limitations on time, we also offer programs for lessons only, and performance only. Vision Music Live has programs for ALL ages (including adults), and ALL ability levels (including beginners)!
Lesson Only: Weekly private lesson at a specific agreed to day and time. As part of our white glove service, our teachers come to you for these lessons. Lessons are offered in weekly 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions
Performance Only: Weekly group rehearsal at a specific agreed to day and time. Options for Kids (8-18) as well as Adults. Note: Students enrolled in Performance Only will need a way to learn and practice assigned songs outside of rehearsals (eg. Self-Study via YouTube, Songsterr, Ultimate-Guitar, etc). There is no private lesson with this program option.
Full Performance Program (Lessons + Performance): Weekly private lesson and weekly group rehearsal. Performance options for Kids (8-18) as well as Adults. This is the recommended program and students typically advance much quicker on their musical journey!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Performance Program
For all students in the performance program - Vision Music Live has 3 seasons each year. Each season is 4 months long and consists of weekly rehearsals culminating in end of season live concerts. The Winter Season will run from January 2025 – April 2025.
The Winter 2025 season will offer two (2) sessions each week focused on students aged 8-18. There will also be one (1) session each week focused on adults. Based on enrollment, additional sessions may be added.
Enrolled students will need to bring their own guitar or bass if that is the students instrument of choice. Amplifiers, Drums, Keyboard, and Microphones will all be at the rehearsal space.
The rehearsals are for students only and are closed to parents, relatives and friends. In addition to liability concerns, the reason is to remove distractions while students are learning and to have focused rehearsals. Friends and family will get to see the results of our hard work at the end of season shows!
We will have a parents meeting/info session before the first rehearsals of the kids program.
All enrolled students/parents will need to sign appropriate waivers.
